The resulting Transnational Access project allowed for a long-term field study analyzing the impacts of ozone pollution on different tree-fungi symbiotic associations over a full growing season, leveraging specialized Free-Air Ozone Concentration Enrichment (FACE) infrastructure alongside local technical expertise.
