What we Offer and How to Access

Transnational Access (On-Site, Remote & Hybrid)

Apply to use Europe’s climate-risk research installations, instruments, laboratories, and expert support — travel costs covered.

Access requests can be submitted during IRISCC’s scheduled Open Calls, each lasting two months, followed by evaluation and selection.

Virtual Access to Digital Services

Immediate, free access to climate data, models, tools, and virtual research environments.

Access is free of charge without any application, though registration is required to manage usage and collect feedback.

Need rapid support for emergencies or Ukrainian researchers?

Rapid, continuously open support for urgent climate-emergency projects or Ukrainian researchers.

Access requests can be submitted anytime!

Visit the Virtual Access Portal, which provides access to online services.

3b. Do you want to apply for TA services?

Wait for an Open Call, then submit your application through our centralised platform, where you can manage, track, and review your Transnational Access requests.

3c. Do you want to apply for the Fast-Track Access?

Submit your application anytime through our centralised platform, where you can manage, track, and review your Transnational Access requests.

4. Enjoy the Services & Make an Impact

Start using the services and contribute to advancing solutions for climate risk adaptation and mitigation.

Who Can Apply

Researchers from academia, government, industry, and civil society.
PhD candidates and postdocs.
Cross-disciplinary teams are encouraged.
Ukrainian researchers or projects responding to urgent climate emergencies can apply for Fast-Track at any time.

What’s Covered

Sponsored access to installations, instruments, experiments and expert support.
Travel & subsistence up to €2,000 per approved TA or Fast-Track project.
Salaries are not covered.
VA (datasets and digital tools) is free of charge.
