The IRISCC Fast-Track Call provides continuous and rapid access to research infrastructure services for urgent scientific needs related to climate and environmental emergencies. It is designed to ensure that researchers can obtain timely support when responding to critical events such as wildfires, floods, droughts, and other climate-related hazards.
The Call is open from 2025 to 2028. It also provides continuous access for researchers based in Ukraine, ensuring the continuity of their research activities independently of urgency or emergency conditions.
Supporting urgent science when it matters most
Climate-related emergencies are increasing in frequency and intensity across Europe and globally. In such situations, access to computational resources, data, and research services can be essential for understanding impacts, supporting decision-making, and accelerating response efforts.
The IRISCC Fast-Track Call ensures that researchers do not need to wait for fixed deadlines. Instead, applications can be submitted at any time, enabling a streamlined evaluation process designed for urgent cases.
