A video recap of the ENVRI community’s activities at EGU—featuring IRISCC colleagues—is available and captures the energy, expertise, and spirit of cooperation shared throughout the week.
IRISCC at EGU 2025

The IRISCC project was proud to take part in the EGU General Assembly 2025, one of the world’s leading geoscience conferences. As part of the ENVRI community, IRISCC co-organised the ENVRI booth (Booths 64 & 65) together with fellow RI-supporting projects including ENVRI-Hub NEXT, iMagine, ENVRINNOV, interTwin, AgroServ, AMRIT, BlueCloud, Atmo-Access and GEORGE . This joint effort provided a dynamic platform to present our shared vision for advancing environmental research.
At the booth, IRISCC introduced its mission to support climate risk research through integrated infrastructure services and promoted its newly launched Service Catalogue and 1st Call for Access to its services. Visitors had the chance to engage with IRISCC representatives, explore access opportunities, and discuss collaboration across disciplines.
IRISCC also contributed to several key sessions:
- A live Lunch Talk presentation on how users can discover and apply for access to IRISCC services.
- A well-attended Town Hall Meeting on transnational and virtual access, featuring practical guidance and real-world user experiences.
- A co-organised training session on data interoperability.
- A contribution to the scientific programme with a presentation on integrated research infrastructures and their role in environmental science.
We are especially grateful to our project partners and fellow initiatives in the ENVRI community for their collaboration and support. The collective presence at EGU highlighted the power of working together to deliver impactful, open-access research services.
