This call will provide researchers, policymakers, and industry professionals with the opportunity to access cutting-edge research services and facilities addressing climate change-driven risks. Just like in the first call, proposals are welcome from across sectors, including academia, government, and industry, with no specific thematic focus. This is an excellent opportunity to access world-class infrastructure and services, supporting a wide range of research related to hazards, exposure, and vulnerabilities.

What to expect?
Through this call, successful applicants will gain access to:

European research infrastructures, facilities, platforms, tools and other services from the IRISCC Catalogue

Support for transnational (on-site, remote, or hybrid) access
-
Travel & subsistence funding (up to €2000 per accepted proposal)

How to apply
Review the criteria in the IRISCC Transnational and Virtual Access Handbook
Identify the facilities and services that best match your project.
Submit your proposal through the Transnational Access (TA) portal once the 2nd Call for Access opens*.
Please note that you can also utilise our permanently open fast-track call for urgent/unexpected events and research from Ukrainian organisations. The VA services can be accessed anytime through our VA portal.
Your project will be evaluated. If accepted, you can use IRISCC services as early as February 2026.
