for Emergencies and Ukrainian Researchers

📍 Scope: Rapid-response projects and Ukrainian researchers affected by climate emergencies.


The Fast-Track Call is now open for researchers requiring immediate access to IRISCC’s services in response to climate emergencies. This Call is also available for Ukrainian researchers facing challenges due to the ongoing geopolitical situation.

Unlike other Calls, this Fast-Track option allows continuous submissions from 2025–2028 and provides a swift evaluation process, ensuring that researchers in urgent need of scientific resources can receive timely support.

Who Can Apply?

Ukrainian Researchers

Applicants based in Ukraine can apply at any time during the Fast-Track Call to address climate emergencies and related crises.

Emergency Projects

This Call supports research projects that require rapid-response access to IRISCC services in the wake of urgent climatic or environmental challenges.

How to Apply?

Confirm that your project is related to an urgent climate emergency or that you are a Ukrainian researcher facing crisis-related challenges.

Submit Your Application

Complete your application online through the Submission Portal linked from the service page.

When to Apply?

Applications are accepted continuously, so there is no deadline for submission. However, to ensure swift processing, we recommend applying as soon as possible to expedite the review and access process.

What’s Covered?

  • Full access to IRISCC services, installations, and data.

  • Travel & subsistence: Up to €2000 per accepted proposal (for travel and accommodation costs).

  • Salaries are not covered.
