This call will provide researchers, policymakers, and industry professionals with the opportunity to access top research infrastructure services and facilities addressing climate change-driven risks. Just like in the first call, proposals are welcome from across sectors, including academia, government, and industry, with no specific thematic focus. This is an excellent opportunity to access world-class infrastructure and services, supporting a wide range of research related to hazards, exposure, and vulnerabilities.

Access Opportunities
IRISCC offers several ways to access services from leading European research infrastructures:
Transnational Access (TA)
Applicants must submit a proposal through our Open Calls. Selected projects receive sponsored access to facilities, platforms, support and expertise, including support for travel and subsistence (up to 2000 EUR).
Virtual Access (VA)
Available anytime, without the need for a proposal. With our VA, you can gain access to research infrastructures’ high quality datasets, virtual platforms and analytical tools.
Fast-Track Access
This unique Fast-Track Call allows continuous submissions for Emergencies & Ukrainian Researchers and includes a swift evaluation process, ensuring timely access to critical infrastructures and expertise when urgent needs arise.
Evaluation Criteria
Applications will be evaluated based on:
- Scientific & Technical Relevance
- Novelty and Innovation
- Implementation Quality
- Bonus: Cross-infrastructure Collaboration
What’s Covered?
- Full access to IRISCC services, installations, and data.
- Travel & subsistence: Up to €2000 per accepted proposal (for travel and accommodation costs).
- Salaries are not covered.
